OhioHealth, a leading healthcare organization, wanted to reduce turnover by identifying and addressing the top reasons why employees leave the organization.


Workware partnered with multiple internal teams to develop and execute a comprehensive process to select, welcome, and prepare new employees for success. Our process, Right from the Startâ„¢, is a competitive strategy that combines best practice methods, practical tools, communication strategies, and corporate events. The process was deployed in an interactive training event for over 700 leaders across the company. To help carry out this new process, we designed a toolkit (paper and electronic) so that management responsibilities are clear, implementation is consistent, and leaders have support they need to be successful.


Consistent management practices are leading to better and more timely hiring decisions. Moreover, better hiring decisions and onboarding practices are reducing early turnover.
